Meet the LilyPond Staff

Anna Krutsky – Director

is in the process of receiving her MSW from the University of New England. She and her family are new to the Mid-Coast, having followed their hearts to land in this
wonderful community of healers. She has a passion for helping others find their way to a life of health and happiness.

She has owned two artisan bread companies in Vermont and New Hampshire, as well as having taught Aqua Aerobics at the Hampshire Regional YMCA in Northampton MA., where she was also the Aquatics Coordinator.


Anne Huyler Baker - practitioner

received graduate M.A. degree in Applied Healing Arts from Tai Sophia Institute. Anne is currently a faculty member and advisor at Tai Sophia Institute, Laurel, Maryland, a Reiki practitioner, a Neurofeedback practitioner, is trained in Emotional Freedom Technique, and has taught workshops on stillness, EFT and Psychokinesis.

Anne is a life long educator whose passion is empowering people of all ages to find their own personal stillness.  "She brings a promise to life of grounded nurturing of infinite possibilities."


Sunny Bolduc - practitioner

Sunny has been practicing occupational therapy for the past four years specializing in adults with traumatic and acquired brain injuries, hand therapy and early intervention; working with children birth to five who have developmental disabilities, autism, sensory integration and neurological conditions. Her therapeutic approach entails a gentle blend of traditional and complementary treatment techniques including Neuro-developmental techniques, Sensory Integration and Craniosacral Techniques.


Gretchen Scott- practitioner

graduated from the Downeast school of Massage with high honors in 2003 and has a private massage therapy practice in Lincolnville, Maine. Gretchen studied in the field of Swedish massage, specializing in the skills of relaxation and therapeutic massage. She has studied Clinical Flexibility and Therapeutic Exercise and incorporates these into her practice. Her love of bodywork and water led her to the study of aquatic Integration and Watsu where she can blend her current practice into this new modality. Gretchen also appreciates working with a population of varying needs and abilities and looks forward to this aspect of Aquatic Integration . A lifelong resident in the mid-coast area and health care provider for the past ten years Gretchen looks forward to offering her expanded skills in Aquatic Integration to her community.

 

Mary Sheeline - practitioner

An early childhood loss gifted Mary with the discovery of her body's core connection to earth energy.

Mary's professional practice began in New York city in 1981, studying Amma Shiatsu with Master DoAnn Tsuneo Kaneko. providing Mary with an invaluable foundation in bodywork. Moving to CA, Mary studied Swedish-Esalen and Reflexology and worked in a number of Napa Valley spas. After attaining a Masters in Special Education, Mary taught elementary special ed for a decade in the Bay Area.

Mary currently lives in Rockland and has a thriving massage practice. Mary feels strongly that she is guided by a Divine Love and she has a gift for connecting quickly and warmly with all kinds of people. She has dedicated her life to helping people deepen their awareness of themselves. Through guiding people to discover their wholeness, Mary gratefully practices her life's purpose on a daily basis. Aquatic bodywork is a natural progression for Mary's expression of deep knowing that all of life is connected within a beautiful energetic matrix.


Linda Shepard - practitioner

has been teaching yoga in the community since 1992 and has a Body-Centered Therapy private practice at her home in Union. Her interest in bodymind awareness and energy medicine led her to certification as a Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapist in 1993. She continued her training with Arnold Mindell and Processwork, Transformational Breathwork, and is a certified Jin Shin Jyutsu practitioner. Her work is a blending of techniques which support structural alignment, vitality of breath, somato-emotional and energetic balance. Linda is interested in the potential for healing which is possible when respectful attention is brought to the whole person.


Cynthia Swan- practitioner

has received her graduate, M.Ed. degree in Education with the core study in Exercise Science in 1994 from the University of Maine, Orono. Afterward, she became a Nationally Certified Athletic Trainer, Energy Work Practitioner, Licensed and Nationally Certified in Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork and a Certified Aura-Soma Practitioner/Consultant. Aquatic Bodywork is another passion she adds to her list of offerings.

For the last 15 years, Cynthia has worked for Waldo County General Hospital in Belfast and currently runs their Massage & Reiki Clinic. Due to her passions which include Integrative Medicine and Education she founded and hosts "Healthy Options", a radio show in Maine that educates and informs listeners of the many offerings under the Integrative Medicine umbrella. Cynthia feels there are many paths that lead one to optimal well-being. By integrating a myriad of synergistic modalities, many opportunities are available to enhance all aspects of one's life


Cindi Yawdik- massage therapist

Cindi Yawdik has been doing massage since she graduated from Downeast School of Massage in 1999.  Her focus was on the mind/body connection while training in Swedish Massage but since her graduation, she has taken many hours of continuing education in various forms of deep tissue, sports massage and energy work.    Since people choose to recieve massage therapy for a variety of different reasons, Cindi feels that it's important to have many approaches to help her clients achieve their goal of wellness. 

 

 

Stephen Huyler - owner

Stephen is an art historian, cultural anthropologist, photographer, and author. He has spent a large part of the last thirty-two years traveling in Indian villages documenting craftsmanship and traditional and contemporary cultures.

His interest in the aquatic healing arts has inspired him to bring to Mid Coast Maine his vision of an aquatic center in a serene setting where people can experience the beauty and power of aquatic therapy.
